Volunteering in the spotlight

Does your organisation or initiative work with volunteers in the municipality of Leeuwarden? And would you like to put your volunteer work in the spotlight?
After Volunteer in the spotlight we are now launching a new initiative ”Volunteerwork in the spotlight.” 
Together with Omroep Leeuwarden, we bring volunteer work within your organisation into focus. 

For whom.
Foundations, associations and community/resident initiatives working with at least four volunteers in the municipality of Leeuwarden. 

What exactly does it entail?
A short, professionally recorded film will be made by Omroep Leeuwarden. In this film, volunteers are portrayed while doing volunteer work. Volunteers and people involved also get the chance to talk about what volunteering brings them. 

How does it work?
1. You notify your organisation here and fill in the questions as completely as possible - Note: There is a lot of interest in this pilot. We will soon start with the first organisations. We hope that the pilot is successful so that we can continue the programme afterwards. However, due to the large number of applications, it may take some time before filming takes place at your organisation. -
2. Amaryllis will contact you to coordinate the possibilities of filming at your organisation
3. A date is set (for an initial filming opportunity)
4. Omroep Leeuwarden comes to film one or more times
5. Movie is edited and distributed through various channels 

Note: This is a pilot with a limited number of places. We will try to honour as many suitable applications as possible,
but in case of high interest: full = full.

- The website SamenLeeuwarden
- Amaryllis Volunteering's newsletter and social media channels
- Of course, you may also share the video yourself. Gladly even!
