Support families/support parents wanted for children!

When parents are (temporarily) overburdened by illness or another reason, it can be nice for a child to be with another family on a weekly basis. This allows a child to receive the love and attention it needs and parents are temporarily relieved. A support family offers the opportunity for a child or young person to participate in their daily family life. This can be one half-day a week or once every two weeks. This is done in consultation and depends on what the support family wants to offer and what the child needs. Support families can be singles, families with or without children, grandparents. What is important is that they want to open their heart and home and give positive attention to a child. A VOG is offered and you will receive a short preparatory training. During the pairing, both the supporting and the requesting family receive support from Humanitas.

This is where the walk-in studio came into being, a place where people can express themselves creatively. Together, they can explore and experience life's challenges by working visually. Now we want to set up a foundation and we are looking for a board of directors who want to do this together with us. We are looking for enthusiastic people who feel involved with the target group. We are looking for a chairman and a secretary, we already have a treasurer. Allegoeds Vakanties offers holidays for elderly people with physical or social disabilities. Relaxation, encounters, personal attention and space for reflection go hand in hand during our holidays. Personal contact from person to person is always central. Our holidays are characterised by openness, freedom and respect for each other. The holidays of the Allegoeds Foundation would be impossible without the commitment of many volunteers! Years of experience in working with volunteers guarantees good contact and optimal support from the organisation. We are looking for a coordinator for the holiday weeks. Together with a team of volunteers, you take care of the well-being of elderly holiday guests during a week in a hotel accommodation in the Netherlands. During the week, you will be in charge of the volunteer group. This requires capacities especially in the organisational and communicative spheres. In preparation for the week, in cooperation with the foundation and fellow volunteers, you will organise an activity programme for the week's guests. Work location: Elsloo (Friesland), Lunteren (Gelderland), Wapenveld (Gelderland), Putten (Gelderland), Breda (North Brabant), Luyksgestel (North Brabant), Valkenburg (Limburg), Steenwijk-de Bult (Overijssel), Odoorn (Denthe), Hoorn (North Holland), Bergen (North Holland) or on a cruise ship (South Holland or Gelderland).

Neighbourhood association Bilgaard organises many activities in the field of sports, games, care and welfare, Wijkbedrijf Bilgaard renovates the neighbourhood and GezinsLab Bilgaard helps people who can no longer cope on their own. What can you do for us? Come and cook for the neighbourhood restaurant, children's restaurant and other cooking projects; Help the Vegetable Team keep our neighbourhood nice and tidy; Perform small chores for neighbourhood residents with the Garden and Handyman Team; Be ready at the Neighbourhood Service Point to take any questions from neighbourhood residents; Organise an activity for the neighbourhood or support existing activities; Run a bar shift during one of the many fun activities at the community centre; Help residents in the Neighbourhood Room with forms and digital questions; Act as driver of the Neighbourhood Car, driving less mobile residents to their appointments; Keep our beautiful community centre tidy with the Cleaning Team; Repair appliances at the Repair Café so residents don't have to buy new ones; Go into the neighbourhood for GezinsLab to talk to people in an approachable way.

Like going to an ice rink or museum. Going out on a terrace, doing language exercises or playing sports together is also possible. This way, you get to know each other better in a relaxed way. In addition, you will do voluntary work together. Something that matches your interests or future plans for work or education. Homestay kittens animal shelter

Every year, many kittens arrive at Dierenopvang de Wissel. Naturally, we want them to grow up as healthy and stable as possible. Therefore, we are urgently looking for people who can offer these kittens a good start in life. We have several possibilities, it could be a litter with a mother, which therefore only need a lot of love and normal care. But also kittens without a mother, real bottle kittens, feral cats that need to be socialised and all other kittens that come in and need a good home. The kittens stay in the foster home until they are ten weeks old, and in the meantime they are vaccinated, de-flead and de-wormed, micro-chipped and checked by the vet. All resources for this, as well as food, grit, etc. are provided by the shelter.
