Activities coordinator for the Zonnebloem North Friesland Regional Council

The Zonnebloem is all about people. For 75 years. We go out of our way to give people with physical disabilities an unforgettable day. So that they too can enjoy life to the full. That is why we always think in terms of solutions. There are 4 local Zonnebloem branches in the municipality of Leeuwarden, in Stiens and 3 in the city. Friesland is divided into 3 regions. The branches within Leeuwarden municipality fall under region North Friesland. Nationwide, over 40,000 volunteers work for the Zonnebloem. Our donors make the Zonnebloem work possible.

We are looking for an activities coordinator for the North Friesland Regional Board. Duties include:

• Encourage local chapters to be demand-driven, small-scale activities and 1-on-1 activities.
• Encourage local chapters to cooperate on activities.
• Organising and preparing activities, excursions and events for the Zonnebloem's target group.
• Looking for new opportunities and developing new activities that meet the needs of the target group.

• Varied volunteering.
• A kick-off workshop to become well-informed about the Sunflower.
• Support through (job-specific) workshops and theme meetings.
• The Zonnebloem reimburses expenses incurred.

• Organisational qualities.
• Initiative and creative in coming up with new activities.
• Socially competent / good interpersonal skills.
• Working well together.
• Having an eye for the needs of the target group.
• Able to supervise volunteers.
