Work and Study Orientation Course

Work (paid or unpaid) or taking up a course of study is not something that can be taken for granted if you have (or have had) a mental health condition.

We often hear this wish expressed, but the step seems too big, too complicated, or there is a fear of a relapse or a negative experience.

That is why, from September 2026, we will be offering the ‘Work & Study Orientation’ course, which will enable you to explore new opportunities in the field of social rehabilitation.

Topics covered include: your strengths, the circle of influence, setting achievable goals, job vacancies, applying for jobs and being open about your mental health challenges.

This course, comprising seven group sessions, is delivered by an expert by experience from Ixta Noa and a job coach from Twomorrow.

Where: Ixta Noa practice centre, Leeuwarden.
Dates: Thursday 24 September, 1, 15, 22 and 29 October, 5 and 12 November.
Time: 10.30 am – 12.30 pm.
