Leeuwarden Neighbourhood Orchestras (Camminghaburen)

Our two neighbourhood bands in the city bring together residents from different neighbourhoods. Camminghaburen: for beginners. Huizem-West: for people with some musical experience. All instruments are welcome. Don’t have one of your own? We’ll sort it out for you.

Sign up for the Camminghaburen Neighbourhood Orchestra! Have you always wanted to play an instrument in an orchestra? You can with us! If you’re a beginner, you’re more than welcome to join. No musical experience is needed, and we’ll teach you to read music in no time. Trumpet, saxophone, drums, trombone, keyboard, guitar: whatever you fancy, we’ve got it for you. You’re also welcome to bring your own instrument.

The orchestra is for beginning musicians, young & old (from 14 years of age). Together, you work towards a performance in front of an audience.
