Participation premium

Do you receive benefits from Leeuwarden municipality and do voluntary work? If so, there is a chance you may be eligible for the annual participation premium. You can have this assessed by team Werk/Participatie of the Municipality of Leeuwarden. The conditions for this include that you must be at least 27 years old and have not yet reached the AOW pension age. See here further conditions.

Do you meet these conditions? If so, please send an e-mail to gemeente@leeuwarden.nl. Please include the following in the subject line: t.a.v. Team Work/Participation > Volunteering.

Please include the information below in the e-mail:

• Your name
• Your citizen service number
• Name of voluntary organisation
• Effective date of volunteering
• Work
• Number of hours per week
• To volunteer or not to volunteer
• The volunteer contract or a photo/copy thereof

Team Werk/Participatie will send you a message about whether or not you will be awarded the participation premium.
