Share your story in various ways
Sharing your own recovery story is helpful for yourself and offers (h)acknowledgement to others. Write a blog, record a podcast: Empire of Experience supports you in shaping your story.

Inspire each other
Telling your story and listening to the experiences of others. It is nice to find out that you are not the only one. By learning and sharing together, you help each other along the way and support each other.

Interactive experience sessions
Volunteers from Rijk van Ervaring, together with the recovery coach, give interactive meetings on recovery-related topics. Here, personal (recovery) stories are shared and recovery processes are made insightful, recognisable and understandable. Participants can discuss and ask questions to the volunteer and the recovery coach.

These meetings are open to anyone involved or interested.

Engagement for organisations
We help organisations firmly embed experiential knowledge in policy, teams and daily practice. We make expertise by experience visible and use it to reduce prejudice and break through stigma. Teams learn to better recognise signals and needs, have open conversations about mental health and provide appropriate support. This creates more understanding, connection and a working climate in which everyone feels seen and heard.
