Weekend school Baljée

The new school year at Baljée Weekend School is about to begin! Come and find out more!

The new academic year at Baljée Weekend School in Leeuwarden begins on 25 October. At the weekend school, you’ll discover all sorts of things about your career options and talents. Once every two weeks, you’ll visit a company or organisation with your group to learn more about different careers through a guest lecture. During the guest lecture, the guest speaker will talk about their work: what skills do you need to do the job? What makes the work so enjoyable? What experiences has the guest speaker had? Afterwards, you’ll get stuck in! Together with your classmates, you’ll experience what it’s like to do this work. This way, you’ll really learn by getting stuck in! At the weekend school, we believe it’s important for you to experience for yourself what it’s like to do the job. This helps you discover what you’re good at, what you enjoy doing, or what really makes you happy. This can help you make choices later on about which school you want to go to, what career you want to pursue, or which hobby or sport you’d like to take up.

Baljée Weekend School is for curious children who want to discover more about the world around them!
