The Blokhuispoort Foundation promotes the history of the Leeuwarden Blokhuis, the House of Incarceration and Discipline, the Special Criminal Prison, the House of Detention on Keizersgracht and the Blokhuisplein Leeuwarden. Over 500 years of history on a special place in Leeuwarden city centre, from Blokhuis to Blokhuispoort.
