Chairman / board members Network Time to Connect

Due to the resignation of our current chairman, youth volunteer network Time to Connect is looking for an engaged and inspiring chairman (volunteer) and board members to continue building a strong and connecting network for young people together with the board and our youth workers.

About Network Time to Connect
Network Time to Connect is a youth volunteer network striving for a Leeuwarden society where people look out for each other. We inspire and activate young people to offer help and network to fellow townsfolk living in social isolation.

The role as chairman or board member offers the following opportunities for social impact at board level:

-Giving direction and guidance within the board.

-Monitor the foundation's vision, mission and strategy.

-Leading and contributing to board meetings and other meetings.

-Providing continuity, growth and professionalisation together with the other board members.

You will work closely with the other board members (such as secretary and treasurer) and actively think about the future of Network Time to Connect.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

-From his or her faith want to commit to this Christian, diaconal initiative.

-Affinity with youth work and voluntary initiatives.

-Abtains connecting and communication skills.

-Has management experience (advantage, not a requirement).

-Able to think strategically and act practically.

-Average availability of 4-8 hours per month.

-Enthusiastic about building a growing network.
