Client advisor

The Community Service Centre runs accessible walk-in consultation hours where residents can go with any questions they may have about housing, work and wellbeing. This may include advice and information on the Social Support Act (WMO), help with filling in forms, dealing with letters from the government, assistance with administrative matters, and support regarding benefits and income-boosting measures, as well as referrals to other welfare organisations.

We work in partnership with, amongst others, local social teams, dbieb and the Tax and Customs Administration. The 23 drop-in consultation sessions take place at around 14 locations, including neighbourhood rooms, dbieb and community centres in Leeuwarden and Stiens.

We are looking for new volunteer client advisers for the Neighbourhood Service Points in Leeuwarden’s neighbourhoods. Client advisers help residents with their enquiries on a wide range of topics. This includes tasks such as helping them apply for benefits and allowances.
