Cooking groups

We are looking for:

District lunch organises a hot meal on the last Tuesday of the month for 5 euros for about 20 people. We are looking for a person who dares to take the lead in cooking and direct the work such as washing up, setting the table, clearing up, cutting, who does what during cooking etc. Preparation is on Monday afternoon and the meal is finished on Tuesday. Dinner starts at noon. After that time, help is also needed with the dishes and tidying up.

City Canteen: Is a pop-up restaurant that opens every Second Thursday takes place at the community centre every month. Visitors come between 6.00 pm and 8.00 pm to enjoy a three-course meal. The food is prepared by volunteers who start their preparations as early as 12.00 noon. At 5.00 pm, you’ll have dinner together with the volunteers. Visitors pay 8 euros.

Operation: at the community canteen. You’ll help serve around 35 people at the community centre. Serving involves preparing the dining area and setting the tables, organising drinks for the visitors, explaining what’s on the menu, serving the food and helping to clear up at the end.
