Staff member for minor facilitation work (1 half-day p.w.)
Description
For our City Yard, we are looking for someone to do minor facilitation work once a week. Working hours are negotiable. Your duties will include providing coffee and tea, cleaning tasks and running errands if necessary.
Our City Yard Leeuwarden employs people who struggle to keep up in the 'normal' circuit. For some of them, we are a starting point. They gain experience and become skilled workers, after which they can find another regular workplace themselves. For others, a regular workplace is too ambitious, but the shipyard provides a daily rhythm and a foothold.
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
We offer a nice place to learn or maintain rhythm and skills, also as a supervisor. In addition, you get the chance to make a difference for our participants. At Stadswerf Leeuwarden, employees gain confidence in their own abilities and gain experience in establishing social contacts. As a result, every employee goes home at the end of the day feeling satisfied.
