Stiens – Looking for extra support to help organise fun activities with our clients.

For Alliade’s day centre “De Alde Skoalle” in Stiens, we are looking for someone who would like to organise fun activities with our service users with intellectual disabilities. These activities can be carried out individually or in a group.

This could involve playing a game together, going for a walk, cycling, playing shuffleboard, swimming, etc. Whatever you and the client enjoy doing. Just a bit of extra attention and/or exercise.

Times and days by arrangement. Preference for mornings. Preferably weekly, but this too can be arranged in consultation.

If there is a good click from both sides, a VOG is applied for and a volunteer agreement is drawn up. You are insured during your volunteer work and receive a Christmas package from the organisation in December and a small gift around volunteer day.
You will also receive the newsletter for volunteers.
You are entitled to a travel allowance, if applicable.

Of course, you will first get to know each other and drop by for a cup of coffee so you can get to know each other a little. In addition, you will receive the necessary guidance from the staff on site and you will also be inducted.

The most important thing is that there’s a good rapport between the volunteer and the client. Volunteering should be a rewarding experience for both parties. Enjoying working together in a relaxed atmosphere!
