Quartermaster
Description
De Grûn Beweecht Foundation is looking for a quartermaster/organiser to establish contacts and make connections between Grûn people fan Fryslân and a number of enthusiastic people in towns on the IJsselmeer.
The Grûn Beweecht Foundation stands for vibrant soil and good, healthy living. That is why a lively, fun and learning procession of people travels the country. Wooden barrows and authentic ships with artists and storytellers as well as soil. We go -after the adventure with Arcadia in 2025- to Amsterdam and back again.
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
A meaningful volunteer position with lots of independence, sociability, humour and support. You will join a warm team of people who are passionate about the theme "Grûn" (in the broadest sense of the word) and a team of boaters. We let the theme "Grûn" capture our imagination with our boats and wooden wheelbarrows and keys, but certainly also with stories, theatre performances and music (i.e. through art and culture). We have three instigators/daily board for "De Grûn Beweecht" (Theo Mulder, Frans Boersma, Ineke Kalteren) and there are short lines of communication. We meet regularly.
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
You have a healthy dose of humour and ability to put things into perspective. You enjoy working with others. It appeals to you to explore paths not yet precisely worked out and to come up with actions that strengthen us. We ask respectful treatment of everyone you meet on your journey with us.
