Site Coordinator for Volunteer Management

We are looking for a site coordinator for our Leeuwarden site. In this varied role, you will be the first point of contact for the volunteers and will ensure they receive the attention they need so that they feel seen and valued.

What will you do

As an LCVM, you are the point of contact for the volunteer and act as the link between the volunteer, the Events Support Location Coordinator in Leeuwarden, and also the Support Services Coordinator (Jeroen Nederhoed) in the province of Friesland and the Volunteer Management Team (TVM) in the Northern Netherlands region. You will do this by focusing on the following areas: induction, mentoring, retaining and engaging volunteers, and saying goodbye.

What does that look like:

• You inspire, guide, support and value the volunteer
• You will conduct the annual progress review and the exit interview with the volunteer
• You know what is expected of an (events) first-aider, but also what a first-aider may encounter whilst carrying out their duties
