Activity volunteer girl group Leeuwarden wanted!

Together with other volunteers, you will organise activities for girls aged between 13 and 17 at the Heliconweg location in Leeuwarden!

At various AZCs throughout the Netherlands, we organise meetings to help children and young people increase their self-confidence, self-image and social skills. Every week, you organise activities, engage in discussions and inform the young people using themes in which games and creative expressions also play a role. By creating a cosy and safe environment, you ensure that young people can come to you with questions.

•  Together with colleagues (interns and volunteers), you will organise a weekly Time4You meeting for girls aged between 13 and 17. This meeting focuses on providing information on various topics of concern to this target group and empowerment. 
• Together with your colleagues, you will actively contribute to shaping the content of the meetings.
• You have a signalling function (towards the team leader) when it comes to the well-being of young people.
•  You keep attendance records.
• As this is a girls' group, we are specifically looking for a female volunteer. Another requirement is that you are strong in your shoes and want to make an active contribution and think about the content of the meetings.
