The Aldlân Neighbourhood Panel is committed to creating a pleasant,
a liveable and vibrant neighbourhood. To realise our plans and activities
and ensure that residents’ initiatives are properly funded
To help with this, we are looking for a volunteer as
treasurer.
What will your role involve, amongst other things?
• Preparing the budget and annual accounts
• Handling payments and keeping track of income
• To advise the board on financial matters
What do we ask?
• An affinity for numbers and attention to detail
• Available for a few hours a month
• A passion for Aldlân and a financially sound organisation

At the moment, we are working on road safety in Aldlân, two play areas, sustainability – including the grant and the net metering scheme – and more. 

We are a small but active group that works closely with the community centre and the community worker at Amaryllis.

● Experience with and knowledge of financial administration, e.g. in welfare work.
● meticulous work is important for the job
● A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required for this role. This can be applied for free of charge via the neighbourhood organisation.
