Visiting volunteer
A number of residents living in Parkhoven need extra attention. This could be a chat, playing a game together, having a chat about the old days or going for a nice walk. Walking can be with a walker or in a wheelchair.
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
The organisation offers volunteers a Christmas package, presents, a nice party night and you are WA insured for the time you are inside Parkhoven. In addition, the organisation offers you a discount on your health insurance.
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
We require a volunteer with empathy. Be able to attend regularly and handle a degree of independence. Also be able to deal well with (demented and/or somatic) elderly people.
