Volunteer course offerings and activities Humanistisch Verbond Fryslân

The board of HVFryslân consists of four enthusiastic members. We want more than we can achieve. And we have had to sit still long enough.

We are therefore looking for an equally enthusiastic volunteer to take on the task of organising the course offerings and other activities. The duties could possibly be split or, alternatively, combined with volunteer communications, depending on the commitment available.

For courses, we think of:

• identifying course needs
• establishing a potential course offering and finding course leaders, in addition to the standard national offering
• geographically plotting courses (finding and reserving the location)
• PR and student recruitment in cooperation with the national office
• the organisation of the courses to be offered

By activities, we think of:

• organising city, nature and theme walks
• organising cultural activities such as special themed evenings, film visits and reading clubs etc.

• full cooperation and facilitation
• a friendly and committed working atmosphere
• valuation
• an expense allowance for costs incurred

• willing to be a member of the Humanist Society
• willingness to make a selfless commitment to an association
• knowledge of and experience in organising activities (lectures, courses)
