Walk volunteers Hayemastate - Stiens
Description
An hour's walk with residents in the area. Of course, a Hayema State staff member goes along if necessary.
Hayemastate residents like to go outside, but care staff do not always have time to do so with them. That is why we are looking for people who enjoy taking an hour-long walk with one or more residents. Just a breath of fresh air, a walk around the block. By doing so, you add some sparkle to a resident's day, and to your own!
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
You will talk to the welfare coach to find out which activities suit you best and what exactly is needed.
- You can participate in training courses organised by Alliade for volunteers,
- Once a year there is a volunteer party
- You are entitled to a gift on nursing day
- And you get a Christmas package.
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
* Patience and empathy.
* And an hour (or more) of your time.
* Taking a walk around the block together: you happy & a resident happy!
