Would you like to lead autistic volunteers?

Autism Digital is looking for an autistic volunteer to keep an overview, connect people and help think about how volunteers can work together pleasantly.

As staff sector leader, you have a central role within the organisation. You not only support the collaboration between volunteers, but also implement Autism Digital's policies and direction more broadly.

Together with the other sector leaders, you form the link between the board, coordinators and volunteers. That means you help translate signals from the organisation into policy - and vice versa, help make plans practical and workable.

What are the tasks?

-You regularly coordinate with the board and coordinators.
-You will lead the two other sector leaders.
-You support coordinators in implementing the volunteer policy.
-You will help ensure a pleasant and autism-friendly working environment.

What does the organisation offer the volunteer?

-You work with people and get to know other people with autism.
-There is room for your way of leading and collaborating.
-You really influence how our organisation works and grows.
-You will receive a comprehensive familiarisation period and support.
-You can do this volunteering from home, from anywhere in the Netherlands or Belgium. All contact takes place via e-mail, WhatsApp and Teams.

What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?

-You belong to our target group (you have autism and are 18+)
-You have experience in leading a (small) team.
-You can translate from policy to practice.
-You can communicate and listen well.
