Neighbourhood Helpers
Description
There are all those in the city who need some help. Hobby around the Corner helps these people by organising help in their own area. How? By simply asking door-to-door if anyone wants to help a neighbour! It always works! It is very rewarding work! You can get it done in an afternoon. You create a small group and we make an app-group of them. This prevents people from feeling obligated and bound. Most people want to help, but not alone!
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
You get back a lot of gratitude from the people you have helped. You create cohesion in a neighbourhood. You get a Hobby around the Corner T-shirt to be known as a representative of the foundation.
It is immensely satisfying when the help does indeed succeed!
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
We ask the volunteer to have a piece of intrinsic motivation to help your fellow man, especially the elderly. You will first receive a short training on how to make sure you are successful too!
