Digital buddy

Erasmus Care Centre is looking for a digital buddy – someone who enjoys helping older people with their digital environment and devices.
Residents can contact the digital buddy if they have any questions about their mobile phone, tablet, laptop or TV settings.
The residents, most of whom are elderly, are not digitally literate and would really appreciate a buddy to help them with this!

It’s an enjoyable and rewarding way to spend your time, and you’ll receive plenty of appreciation and gratitude from the residents. We’ll provide you with on-the-job training. You’ll make new friends amongst the residents, volunteers and staff. Your travel expenses will be reimbursed and you’ll be insured. We always invite you to our friendly volunteer get-togethers, and we certainly won’t forget you – you’ll receive an annual gift. 

We are looking for someone who can help our residents with digital queries, step by step. You have an affinity with older people and are able to explain things in simple terms.
