Activity leader and host/hostess Meedoen Westend in Leeuwarden

For our Meedoen Westend location, we are looking for a fluent host/woman and activity supervisor. Every day, elderly people gather here for a meaningful day out. The volunteer has an affinity with the elderly, enjoys providing people with snacks and drinks and can also offer support during activities.

Innez offers various forms of group counselling ( day care) for different target groups. Group counselling provides structure and a meaningful completion of the day for people who need support and experience little social interaction. It helps to engage in activities, create a healthy daily routine and increase self-reliance. In addition, group counselling can also relieve the burden on informal carers, which can help them to continue living independently for longer. It not only promotes social interaction, but also supports in building a healthy routine and strengthening self-reliance.

Ability to be present for one or more half-days. Affinity with the elderly is inseparable from this position. Furthermore, we value hospitality, enthusiasm and empathy.
