Description
Recreation room the Brasserie is the place where Erasmus residents come to for conviviality and a chat. We cannot do this without volunteers to provide the residents with coffee, tea or a tasty snack. Are you an energetic person who enjoys dealing with people? Then we are looking for you!
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
A wonderful opportunity and place to gain experience in elderly care. On-the-job supervision and attention in a good working atmosphere. You will gain new contacts with residents, relatives, volunteers and staff.
Fun volunteer meetings, the occasional gift and you will be reimbursed for your travel expenses.
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
You are motivated and enjoy making older people feel comfortable. You are hospitable and a good listener. Rolling up your sleeves, serving coffee/tea, cleaning up, anything to give the resident a valuable moment in the meeting room.
