Cook wanted!
Description
Do you go for healthy & tasty? And are you a cook at heart? Then read on, because community centre Bilgaard is looking for you! The community centre is a meeting place for all Bilgaard residents. This is where people meet for a chat, a cup of coffee or for joint activities. It is a bustling association with some 140 volunteers. Soon there will also be a true neighbourhood restaurant, open every Wednesday afternoon. If Wednesday is not convenient for the volunteer cook, consultation for another day is always possible.
It will be a place, with living room atmosphere, where local residents can eat healthy food together for a small price. To make this possible, they are looking for a cook. As a volunteer cook, you will determine the menu for the evening, do the shopping and, together with your fellow colleagues, prepare a delicious and healthy meal. Besides cooking, you will also supervise residents, interns who want to learn the cooking profession.
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
A fun dynamic work environment, with a nice kitchen and good equipment.
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
We require a volunteer with patience and a calm personality. This is important because you will regularly come into contact with colleagues who are distanced from the labour market. We also ask the volunteer to hold an apprenticeship certificate.
