Cooking groups

We are looking for:

A KOK; someone who can and is willing to manage a group of 5 people. The group consists of 2 ladies who do know about cooking and seasoning and 3 people who like to help with chopping and stirring. All 5 unfortunately cannot manage the work well.

District lunch organises a hot meal on the last Tuesday of the month for 5 euros for about 20 people. We are looking for a person who dares to take the lead in cooking and direct the work such as washing up, setting the table, clearing up, cutting, who does what during cooking etc. Preparation is on Monday afternoon and the meal is finished on Tuesday. Dinner starts at noon. After that time, help is also needed with the dishes and tidying up.

The group is also happy if you can only help out on Tuesdays.

Operation: You will help serve about 30 people at the community centre. Serving involves setting up the room and tables, arranging drinks for the visitors, explaining the food, handing out the food and cleaning up together at the end.

City Canteen: Is a pop-up restaurant that visits the community centre every 2nd Thursday of the month. Visitors come to eat a 3-course meal between 6pm-8pm. The food is made by volunteers who start preparing it as early as 12.00. For a small fee, the volunteers eat together at 17.00. Visitors pay 8 euros.
