Buddies wanted

Alliade provides care and support to people with disabilities in Friesland. Volunteers play an important role in the lives of our clients.

As a volunteer, you do what you enjoy yourself at times that suit you. So this can vary a lot.
We are looking throughout Alliade for volunteers who would like to visit a client or do something together with a client. An introductory interview will be followed by an introduction to one of our locations in Leeuwarden or Stiens.
In consultation, an introduction to one of our clients will then follow. All of Alliade's clients have a mental disability. Several clients also have other disabilities.

It is an enjoyable leisure activity and offers an opportunity for further personal development. You can mean a lot to another person.

Reliability, integrity and good social manners are important. You have an affinity with people with disabilities.

Most important is the click that must exist between the volunteer and the client. Volunteering must add value from both sides. In addition, you are reliable and keep appointments.
