Treasurer (Voluntary)

Would you like to use your financial knowledge to make a real difference for young people who are at risk of falling between the cracks? Stichting De GeluksFabriek in Grou is looking for a committed volunteer treasurer who wants to work with the board to build a stable and future-proof organisation.

The GeluksFabriek offers young people a safe, practical place to work and learn, where they rebuild their prospects towards education, employment and social participation. We work locally, people-oriented and with many committed volunteers.

What will you do?

• As treasurer, you will be responsible for the financial foundation of the foundation. Your duties include:
• Maintaining light financial records
• Preparing and monitoring budget and cash flows
• Taking care of payments and invoicing
• Preparation of financial statements and annual reports (we work with Snelstart)
• Contributing ideas on financial planning, funds and grants
• Financial accountability to board, municipality and funds
• You will work closely with the board and actively think about the further growth and professionalisation of the foundation.

We are looking for someone who:

• Experience in financial management (professional or voluntary)
• Affinity with social initiatives and youth
• Enjoys helping to build a start-up foundation
• Available a few hours per month (flexible scheduling by agreement)
