PR & communications coordinator (Board support position)

Stichting Amivedi, an established name since 1933, is looking for a PR and Communication Coordinator. We are an interesting volunteer organisation enthusiastically working for missing and found pets in the Netherlands. Together with 125 volunteers, we facilitate the national registration of these pets and offer pet owners our expertise in finding their beloved animals.

Your role

As PR and Communication Coordinator, you can give Amivedi a stage so that even more volunteers and pet owners know how to find us. This in a job that, due to the flexible working hours and the possibility to work remotely, is perfectly doable next to your regular job or other activities. We require around 8 hours per week in terms of workload. You advise and are responsible for defining and implementing our PR and communication policy. You support activities aimed at our target groups: volunteers, reporters, cooperating organisations, media and donors.

You will participate in around eight board meetings per year and contribute to
policy formulation and implementation.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience and/or training in PR and communications.
• Communication skills and accuracy, both verbal and written.
• Possesses a hbo working and thinking level.
• Flexible and able to analyse complex situations independently.
