Production leader in amateur arts

Production leader in amateur arts

Description

Wilde Wijk is a welfare organisation in the Huizum-West neighbourhood that aims to connect residents through socio-cultural activities (amateur art and community art). To help with the organisation, we are looking for someone who can get things done easily! When an activity is organised, all kinds of things have to be arranged in a short period of time: collecting materials, reserving a space, calling volunteers, distributing flyers, shopping for catering, etc. After the activity, everything has to be put back in its place. Many tasks are done collaboratively. Consultation with and feedback to the project leader is important. Regular evaluations are conducted, so you will quickly learn how we operate.

What does the organisation offer the volunteer?

We offer a varied range of tasks. Wilde Wijk is a wonderful organisation with valuable contacts among local residents. Participants and volunteers say: it feels like family! You can join us for a meal during the Eetcafé.

What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?

Are you an amateur arts enthusiast? Profile: A go-getter! A jack-of-all-trades! Someone who can quickly assess situations, organise things and roll up their sleeves. Preferably also creative, so you can help build sets, etc. When an activity is organised, all sorts of things need to be arranged in a short period of time: purchasing materials, reserving a space, calling volunteers, distributing flyers, shopping for catering, etc. Consultation with and feedback to the project leader is important here. Are you available for one or two half-days per week? For larger activities, you may be needed for more half-days.
