Do you enjoy being in contact with people? And do you have a creative or sporting hobby that you would like to share with others? Who knows, maybe we are looking for you!

What will you do?
At Stjoer, we are looking for a supervisor/organiser for weekly recovery activities at our office at Tesselschadestraat 8a in Leeuwarden. You may choose the activity yourself, we are open to a lot. From something creative to yoga classes, making a collage, organising a discussion group or anything else that makes you happy. You organise the activity for people who have experienced mental vulnerability. The aim is to work on recovery in an approachable way. A weekly activity provides structure, fun, social contacts and a sense of belonging.


What does the organisation offer the volunteer?

  • You can use your voluntary work for personal development and/or to participate in society (again). Here, you will receive support from one of our recovery coaches;
  • You will be guided on how to get started with the activity and can also come to us afterwards for questions and tips;
  • You get a volunteer contract including accident and liability insurance;
  • You will receive travel reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre or public transport reimbursement if you live outside Leeuwarden.
