Event Team Volunteer

Are you creative, a strong organiser and do you enjoy bringing people together? Would you like to contribute to an organisation dedicated to helping people in need? If so, the Events Team at the Red Cross North Netherlands is looking for you! 

As a volunteer on the Events Team, you’ll organise inspiring and community-building activities for Red Cross volunteers in Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe. With your ideas and enthusiasm, you’ll help create events that volunteers appreciate, find inspiring and which bring them together. 

What will you do? 
You’ll be part of an enthusiastic events team and will work together to organise a wide range of events and activities. These might include: 

RKenning’s Party 
Together, we are organising a festive and inspiring event to mark the presentation of the awards, to thank our volunteers for their dedication and commitment. 
Recruitment activities 
You’ll help come up with creative and eye-catching initiatives to attract new volunteers and raise the profile of the Red Cross. 
Open Days 
You will help organise open days at our sites and other activities for volunteers, business partners and interested parties. 
Depending on your interests and availability, you can help with the preparation, organisation and running of events.

Experience in events is a bonus, but certainly not a requirement. We consider enthusiasm and commitment to be far more important.
