Volunteer wanted for badminton
Spelend Sporten organises sporting activities for people with disabilities. Fun, exercise and playing sport together are at the heart of what we do.
We are looking for additional volunteers for our badminton programme in Leeuwarden.
What will you do?
As a volunteer, you’ll be helping out during the badminton evening.
For example, you can help with the game, explain the rules, pass a shuttlecock or support participants where necessary.
You don’t need to be an experienced badminton player to do this.
Enthusiasm and enjoying working with people are the most important things.
When? Every Tuesday evening From September to mid-June. 6.30 pm – 8.00 pm
We work with several volunteers and we try to rotate shifts. So you don’t necessarily have to be there every Tuesday.
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
What do we offer?
A friendly and rewarding place to volunteer, where you’ll work alongside others to ensure that people with disabilities can enjoy sport and have fun.
Would you like to join in one day, or perhaps get to know us first? If so, please feel free to get in touch with Spelend Sporten
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
Why not join in a friendly game of badminton, or are you more into encouraging others to play?! That’s fine too – having a chat now and then is also very important.
