Volunteer Legal Services
Description
As a volunteer Legal Services Officer, you will help victims stand up for their rights. You will inform victims about their role in the criminal process and support them in this. What will you do? Victims who want to recover their damages from the suspect must join the criminal process. To do so, they have to fill in forms from the public prosecutor's office and indicate their material and immaterial damages. Not an everyday occurrence for most victims and they could certainly use some help with that. If victims wish, you can also accompany them to the hearing and act as an authorised representative at the trial. Do you want to make a difference? Are you looking for challenging and versatile voluntary work? Do you have an affinity with legal services, are you meticulous and do you have administrative skills?
