Volunteer at the children’s cookery club

Do you enjoy cooking and working with children? Then we’re looking for you!

At the Insulinde neighbourhood and playground association, we run a fun children’s cookery club where children are introduced to cooking, healthy eating and working together in a fun and accessible way. To make this activity possible, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who would like to help supervise the children.

What will you do?

• Supervising children during cooking activities.
• Helping with the preparation of recipes and ingredients.
• Ensuring a friendly, safe and positive atmosphere.
• Come up with ideas for fun cooking activities together with other volunteers.
• Helping to tidy up afterwards.

• Have fun and get to know the local children.
• A friendly group of volunteers.
• We appreciate your efforts.
• The chance to help organise a fun and educational activity for children.

• You enjoy working with children.
• You are patient, enthusiastic and sociable.
• Cooking experience is a bonus, but certainly not essential.
• You work well with others.
• You are available for a few hours a month.
