Hayema State Stiens – Walking Volunteers

An hour's walk with residents in the area. Of course, a Hayema State staff member goes along if necessary.

The residents of the Hayemastate love going outside, but the care staff don’t always have time to take them out. That’s why we’re looking for people who’d enjoy going for an hour’s walk with one or more residents. Just to get some fresh air, a quick stroll round the block. By doing this, you’ll brighten up a resident’s day – and your own too!

You will talk to the welfare coach to find out which activities suit you best and what exactly is needed.

• You can participate in training courses organised by Alliade for volunteers,
• Once a year there is a volunteer party
• You are entitled to a gift on nursing day
• And you get a Christmas package.
