Summer hikers

Do you enjoy being outdoors, a friendly chat and a leisurely walk?
We’re looking for enthusiastic summer walkers for the residents of Erasmus, especially during this summer period!

In the summer, there’s a real need for extra attention and outdoor activities. That’s why we’re looking for someone who enjoys going outside with residents for a refreshing walk, an ice cream or simply a cosy moment in the sun. You’ll head out with other volunteers and residents – and if the weather’s bad? Then a cup of coffee and a chat about the weather will do just fine!

It’s an enjoyable and rewarding way to spend your time, and the residents really appreciate it and are very grateful. We’ll provide you with guidance on the job. You’ll make new friends amongst the residents, volunteers and staff. Your travel expenses will be reimbursed and you’ll be insured. We always invite you to our friendly volunteer get-togethers, and we certainly won’t forget you with an annual gift. 

Who are we looking for?

Someone who is patient and kind-hearted
Friendly, sociable and physically able to push a wheelchair
Available during the summer months
No experience is required — but enthusiasm is a must!
