Beko(o)k stoves meeting
At the ‘Beko(o)kstoven’ get-togethers, held twice a year, volunteers come along to cook as part of their voluntary work. It’s a chance to get to know one another and swap tips! This time, we’re at the Werkplaats Oud-Oost, where we’ll be taking part in a cookery workshop led by Melissa from Mel’s Meals & Moments. We’ll be learning various chopping techniques and working together to create spreads and salads. Afterwards, there’ll be time to get to know other volunteers involved in cooking initiatives better whilst enjoying lunch.
It’s free to take part!
The workshop will be led by Melissa Woltjer from Mel’s meals & moments, Jefta Winkel, a community kitchen support worker, and community development workers Reynuck and Iqbal.
