This course is aimed at people who have little or no knowledge of Excel, or who wish to refresh their basic knowledge. Topics covered include: what Excel looks like and where to find everything, creating rows and columns, inserting text, performing simple calculations, working with functions, formatting cells, printing, saving and merging.
If you take this course, you’ll learn all the basic functions of the programme. Every day, you’ll learn a little more about how Excel works and, over time, you’ll become increasingly proficient at using it.

Aim of the course
In the Excel Basics course, you will learn the basic skills of Excel, such as: what Excel looks like and where to find everything, creating rows and columns, inserting text, performing simple calculations, working with functions, formatting cells, printing, saving and merging. This course is designed to teach you the basics of using Excel. In particular, the practical examples and exercises will prepare you for using Excel professionally.
