Swap shop on Asgaard Leeuwarden

Asgaard is an experience garden behind Heechterp-Schieringen. On the approximately one-hectare site, which was a slip depot for many years, a special place where people are inspired to make beautiful things has been built since 2018.

At Asgaard, we know that a world opens up for you when you get creative with life, including with money. Many of our buildings are made from donated materials and waste. What is worthless to one person is a treasure to another. That is why we have a swap cupboard and swap corner, in which you will regularly find clothes, books and food that we would like to share. Because you can always throw things away!
On Wednesday and Friday afternoons, the shop is open from 2pm to 5pm and plenty of swapping is allowed. The shop is easily accessible from the entrance and also accessible to the disabled. Bring what you need and think of someone else too.
If you don't have anything to trade now, you may do so another time or you can donate to the Asgaard Foundation.
Together, we keep the swap shop neat and clean and hope to inspire people to give stuff a second chance!
