Asgaard Foundation
Asgaard is an experience garden behind Heechterp-Schieringen. On the approximately one-hectare site, which was a slip depot for many years, a special place where people are inspired to make beautiful things has been built since 2018.
The location offers many opportunities in terms of greenery and nature. This has everything to do with the interesting land Asgaard is located on. Many art and building structures are being built and developed, not short-changing the flora and fauna.
Nature itself is a changeable work of art in itself and Asgaard wants to support it in this process, creating a light planting plan and otherwise letting nature take its course. Gradually, the variation will take shape more and more. In doing so, wild, native large plants such as: Daardbol, Greater Horseshoe, Pimpernel, Alant and Angelica. For the flower garden in Valhalla, smaller varieties of flowers and plants have been chosen. The biggest compliment would be if a colony of bees is attracted to settle here.
