Social worker for status holders

Imagine ending up in a foreign country, where you don't speak the language or know your way around. Where the rules are different and public transport or healthcare doesn't work the way you're used to. How nice it would be then to have someone show you around in this new world, so that you can feel at home in your new place.From 1 January 2026, Amaryllis will be responsible for the social guidance of status holders who come to live in the municipality of Leeuwarden. We support them in housing (furnishing and regulatory matters) and getting acquainted with their village or neighbourhood. Amaryllis is looking for volunteers to guide status holders during the first period in Leeuwarden, where so much is new for them. For example, getting to know their neighbours, getting acquainted with daily life. But also practical matters such as finances and registering with a GP, health insurance or school. Your tasks can vary from practical administrative matters to spending longer periods of time with a status holder and his/her family as a buddy. We also have work for people who would like to supervise a group or provide information. In short, there is plenty to do!Are you interested? Then get in touch with us. Asgaard Leeuwarden is an experience garden with various artistic structures and creations surrounded by nature. There are several animals on the site such as a dog , cats, chickens , rabbits and pigs. The earthship is the common area with a kitchen and seating where visitors and volunteers can provide themselves with coffee and tea and meet for a chat. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping and thinking about setting up the swap shop at Asgaard Leeuwarden. Many items are donated that we offer in this swap shop such as clothes , toys, books, kitchen utensils, etc. This works with a barter system. So someone brings something from home and may exchange it with something new from the shop. If someone has nothing to exchange, they may also bring something back to the shop in exchange for a donation or any other time. The swap shop is open on Wednesday afternoons ( possibly also on Fridays in the new year) from 2pm to 5pm. Work: sort cleaning displaying decorating painting possibly promoting the swap shop through flyers, posters, socials. When: Wednesday afternoons between 14:00 and 17:00 (can be arranged and is flexible) Do you like it or are you curious? What will you do?For our Leeuwarden branch, we are looking for hosts / hostesses for the weekends. You are attentive to visitors, welcoming them upon entry and showing visitors the way in dbieb. Customers can call on you if they need help with the self-service equipment. For example, when returning and borrowing materials, paying and making copies or printing. If customers find it difficult to look up a title in the catalogue, you help them, for all other catalogue questions you refer them to a colleague. You provide information about the dbieb (and its activities), ensure an attractive presentation of the collection and keep the dbieb neat and tidy.

Volunteers wanted for match floor assembly and disassembly. For every LWD Basket home match, a wooden match floor has to be built up and dismantled after the match. We do this with a team of 6-8 people. We are looking for several, physically strong volunteers to help us do this job together.
