Rehabilitation Centre Leeuwarden is there for people who need time to rehabilitate after hospitalisation. For example, after a broken bone, a brain haemorrhage or complex wound care. People may also need to recover from an illness, or want to learn to cope with the consequences of a condition.

We also realise a valuable day for residents together with volunteers. They are an important complement to the professional care we provide. Each volunteer contributes in his or her own way. Some take walks or cook with residents, others make coffee or read the newspaper. And whether you can do several times a week or twice a month, any kind of volunteer work is welcome!
