Living Room Volunteer
Description
At our Noorderbreedte Rehabilitation location, people stay in rehabilitation on their way to recovery. The rehabilitants stay in the living room, where they have their meal and then the opportunity to do an activity together.
Job description:As a hostess/host, support on the wards. Such as serving coffee and tea, helping with breakfast, setting and clearing the table, reading the newspaper, playing games, cooking etc. In short, everything that makes the stay more pleasant. You do all this together with the living room assistant and never alone.
You get to know new rehab residents on the ward. You make contact easily and smoothly and it feels natural to take the initiative. As a volunteer, you are a supportive and valuable addition to professional care.
Deployment will be by mutual agreement.
