Funds/finances for initiative or organisation

Does your organisation or initiative have a great plan, but lack the necessary financial resources to carry it out? Grants can be an important source of support. Many grants provide financial support for community, cultural, sporting or social projects that help to build a strong and engaged society.

Community development workers focus on strengthening the bonds within the community and increasing your influence on what is happening in your own neighbourhood or village. Community development workers can point you towards organisations, residents or places that can also contribute to your idea. 

Do you have a great idea for your neighbourhood or village, but are you short of funds?
We’re happy to help you find a solution. Sometimes the solution isn’t necessarily about money, but might involve, for example, finding a suitable venue or organising sponsorship. If funding is required, we can point you towards local opportunities for neighbourhood or village initiatives. For smaller projects, you might consider neighbourhood or village panels, opportunities with housing associations or community centres, and local authority grants such as ‘Samenleven, Samen Gezond’. For foundations and associations, there are also opportunities to apply to various local and national funds. Here too, we’re happy to help you identify which funds best suit your idea.
