Donor Administration Officer, Amivedi Foundation

Duties and responsibilities
Donor administration

· Processing, recording and verifying donor details.

· Recording changes in the accounting system.

· Processing one-off and regular donations.

· Identifying and correcting incorrect or incomplete data.

· Keeping the customer database up to date in accordance with the GDPR.

· Setting up and processing regular direct debits

Donor Contact

· Answering enquiries from donors by telephone, email and post.

· Sending thank-you letters, acknowledgements of receipt and other correspondence.

· Provide support for initiatives aimed at donor retention and relationship management.

· Ensuring that enquiries and complaints are dealt with accurately and in a customer-focused manner.

Fundraising support

· Providing support for fundraising campaigns, mailings and events.

· Selecting and supplying target audience lists.

· Preparing reports and analyses for fundraising purposes.

· Contributing ideas on how to improve administrative processes relating to donor management.

Scope of work
This is explicitly a voluntary role. The number of hours required will vary, depending on the size of the donor base and/or any relevant changes. Expenses incurred may be reimbursed in accordance with internal guidelines.

Job requirements
Education and experience

· MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking.

· Experience of administrative work.

· Experience with CRM, customer relationship management or donor management systems is an advantage.

· An interest in the non-profit sector or charitable organisations is desirable.

Knowledge and skills

· A good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

· A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

· Be able to work accurately and meticulously.

· Numerical aptitude and administrative skills.

· Handling confidential information with discretion.
