Liaison Board Member
The board of Humanitas Leeuwarden is looking for a socially committed secretary. Would you like to help shape the direction of our organisation and build relationships both within and outside it? Are you interested? If so, we’d be delighted to discuss this with you.
As secretary:
- Think about the strategy and direction of our department;
- Represent Humanitas Leeuwarden inside and outside the organisation;
- Work with an enthusiastic team of volunteers and professionals;
- Prepare meetings and take care of reporting and archiving;
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail/email from/for the board.
About Humanitas Leeuwarden
Humanitas is there for anyone who temporarily needs a helping hand. Our volunteers help people get a grip on their lives again.
Our department offers a range of 15 activities focusing on the following themes: loneliness, language, poverty and debt, parenting and growing up, bereavement support and imprisonment.
We work from the core values of equality, self-direction, responsibility and demand orientation.

- You are sociable, have good communication skills and are well organised;
- You are available for one half-day a week;
- Administrative experience is an advantage, as is living in the municipality of Leeuwarden.
