Support families wanted
Description
Neighbourhood Families is looking for Support Families. Becoming a support family is a great way to help parents with children. You can give a family some air by offering a child a play area in your home from time to time. A place where a child can develop safely. Just a few hours a week can make a big difference for a family that is having a hard time.
We are looking for kind parents, couples with or without children or sociable grandparents who would like to help a family in their own neighbourhood.
Experience in parenting does matter.
What does the organisation offer the volunteer?
You will be supported by the local Neighbourhood Families coordinator for 2 years. Neighbourhood Families regularly offers content-rich webinars.
What does the organisation ask of the volunteer?
Parenting experience
A few hours of time and space to look after a child every week or every other week
